I created these image over the Summer in July at a flower garden in Downtown Portland, OR. I was on the waterfront to photograph fireworks over the Willamette River when I came across this garden near a condominium complex. I’d never seen yellow or orange Calla Lilies before and immediately wanted to photograph. But my time was limited that evening, and the lighting at the specific time wasn’t very good. So I made a mental note to come back when I could come at a time with better lighting. A couple days later I went back and got these image above. Several different types for you to enjoy. I hope you do too? Please leave a comment below or rate above.
Remember to join me every Tuesday I feature an artist whose work I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph. If you’d like to be a Featured Artist here contact me via email at kindmuse@gmail.com.
On Thursdays I will typically feature a photo essay of images created by other photographers that I’ve come across online somewhere and enjoyed.
These images in today’s post are available in print form on a wide variety of items, including coffee mugs, t-shirts, mousepads and various other items. View the images, and many more in my awesome 2013 Summer Flowers collection at my SmugMug Portfolio page.
