Feet

Last Summer I was fortunate enough to photograph a friend’s wedding at a beach on the Oregon Coast. I’ve wanted to do this post ever since, but other things have taken priority. Obviously, on the beach, most folks, including the wedding party in this instance, went without shoes.  I wanted to feature some of the feet I saw while at that ceremony. I almost want to work on a special project of photographing feet. Perhaps that may happen in the not too distant future?

Feet are so important to us, just ask someone who doesn’t have any. I sometimes feel I might take mine for granted? “The feet are flexible structures of bones, joints, muscles, and soft tissues that let us stand upright and perform activities like walking, running, and jumping.” (WebMD). While not much of a runner, I’ve always been a walker. From when I was young and my Mom sending me to the store for supplies, to today, whenever, I get a chance, I choose the walking path as opposed to driving. One of the reasons I like living in the City. Although walking on pavement has taken it’s toll on my knees. Now I share some of the trips I take with my bike thereby alleviating some of the pain I experience in the knees. Where are you going to walk today? It does nothing but good for the health.

Hope you like today’s post, either rate it above or comment below. Or, simply “like.” And join me next Thursday for some more great images.

Peace
