A friend of mine got married on a beach along the Oregon Coast last week. I was allowed to bring my camera along and photograph what I thought might be interesting to photograph while the ceremony was being created. It was a pretty awesome wedding ceremony, where families of the groom and bride created a path lined with driftwood, seaweed, branches, rock, and such materials found on the beach. The couple then walked down the path to the waterside and that is where the ceremony took place. Barefoot in the sand and salt water.
I present in this week’s Photo Blog some images of starfish and roses. The Starfish found naturally, and not so naturally, on the beach. The roses being brought in to add color to the walkway. I found these images to be somewhat surreal in nature. I wonder if you do too? Let me know in the comments below.

Remember to join me every Tuesday I feature an artist whose work I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph. If you’d like to be a Featured Artist here contact me via email at kindmuse@gmail.com.
On Thursdays I will typically feature a photo essay of images created by other photographers that I’ve come across online somewhere and enjoyed.
