I want to feature Abstract artist Tangie Pape Belmore for this week’s artist feature. Every time I see one of Ms. Belmore’s pieces, It’s difficult not to think of Jackson Pollack. Indeed Pollack has been one of Belmore’s influences, but she feels that she has taken her work much farther. I would have to agree.
Tangie Pape Belmore is currently represented by 4 galleries in Oregon. Portland Art Museum‘s Rental Sales Gallery, Gallery 903 in The Pearl District of Portland, Art Elements in Newberg, OR, and the Freed Gallery in Lincoln City, OR on the coast.
