Here are a couple really nice images I’ve been fortunate enough to create in my ongoing endeavor to document the sun rising as viewed from Rocky Butte in Portland, OR. I love the image of the sun peeing over the horizon, emanating hope for a much needed warm, sunny day in the Northwest. Then, there’s the mystery of the second photo reflecting off the mighty Columbia River on a foggy day. Almost looking like the moon, with the exception of the lighting, this image was taken about 15 minutes after the sun raised above the horizon line. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do.
