Post 6a – Happy 4th of July!

In recognition of 236th birthday of the US as we currently know it, I want to submit some images I’ve created in year’s past of the fireworks display that takes place in Downtown Portland, OR every year. This is a great celebration on the waterfront of Portland. The annual Waterfront Blues Festival is going on over the 4th of July weekend, and huge 3 – 4 day music festival that benefits the Oregon Food Bank. Tons of people line both sides of the Willamette River, in some places even closing nearby bridges because the parking is atrocious and people just stop on the bridge during the show. Might be a good idea so people don’t drive off the bridge due to the distraction of the fireworks. Unfortunately, these are small images because it appears that I’ve lost, or misplace, the originals, but they should still be displayed here on my blog in such a way so that you can view them properly.
